Day 1: Broking Foundations

Understand the Australian mortgage industry, key roles within a brokerage, and the lending process from enquiry to settlement. Learn about aggregator structures, lender panels, loan types, and the broker–client relationship.

Day 2: Loan Processing Fundamentals

Overview of the end-to-end loan process including fact finds, compliance documentation, and credit submission workflows. Introduction to data entry standards, CRM updates, and the importance of accuracy and turnaround times.

Day 3: Systems & Software

Hands-on training in common aggregator and lender platforms including ApplyOnline (NextGen), Mercury, Podium, Infynity, and FLEX. Learn to use serviceability calculators, document collection tools (FileInvite, Ezidox, DocuSign) and CRM data management best practices.

Day 4: Credit & Loan Structuring

Understand loan packaging principles - how to prepare credit submission notes, structure loans with multiple splits, review serviceability outcomes, and identify key lender policy differences. Practical exercises in packaging and file preparation.

Day 5: Post-Submission & Settlement

Learn how to track applications through lender portals, update brokers on conditions, and coordinate settlements. Training on liaising with solicitors, confirming loan details, and completing compliance checklists.

Day 6: Client Communication & Customer Care

Develop communication and customer-service skills for client interactions, follow-ups, and post-settlement reviews. Learn to manage templated communications, email etiquette, and client milestone updates.

Day 7: Reporting & Compliance

Training in CRM reporting, pipeline and settlement trackers, and compliance documentation. Understanding privacy, data security, and ISO-grade confidentiality standards across offshore teams.

Day 8: Transition to Client

RPs prepare final assessments, complete mock files, and present practical summaries to the training team. Includes onboarding readiness review, client handover briefing, and access setup for real-world systems.
